In some cases we are unable to ship certain products to countries outside of the UK and Europe. We must respect the distribution agreements we have in place with other distributors. The restrictions are JOYO amplifiers, pedalboards and items that may weigh more than 1kg. If you are unsure at the time of ordering please contact us before payment is made. If we are unable to ship you order we will notify you at the earliest opportunity and provide a refund.
Because of the bizarre situation which is called Brexit, we are finding that some customers in Europe from 1.1.2021 may receive additional duty/import costs on items that are purchased from us in the UK.
Please consider this when purchasing your item. The additional costs that are imposed by your own country, will be paid by the customer.
There will be no additional costs for customers in the UK.
All of our items are despatched in plain packaging for maximum discretion. A packing slip and VAT receipted invoice is included with your order. We can also email you over a PDF, invoice for your records.
Orders sent from JOYO Audio UK can be delivered by a number of postal carriers. High value orders which have been sent to a delivery address will require a signature on delivery so please take this into account when selecting a delivery address.
Many of our carriers will make several attempts to deliver a package and should always leave a card to notify you that a delivery attempt has been made along with details of how you can contact them to rearrange delivery. We will provide you with tracking details that can be tracked online.
We use a combination of delivery couriers, in the UK we primarily use Royal Mail or DPD, where we have a daily collection of orders for delivery.
Couriers for larger items posted domestic and international will be confirmed with you on ordering.

In the unlikely event, the despatch of your order is delayed. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed. Our stock levels are maintained in the UK and we work hard to keep them maintained. If an item is not in stock, it will be back in within a few days. We also rely on our couriers to do their thing.
You will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered unworn, undamaged. The product must be returned including any promotional gifts and with all original packaging & instructions as originally supplied within 30 days of purchase.
Any refund / exchange will exclude our initial outgoing postage costs and will be for the item only. All returns will be checked & inspected by JOYO UK on receipt. Failing to take care of the item whilst it is in your possession will incurr a cleaning and repackaging fee.
Any item whilst it is in your possession must be taken care of, any signs where this is not the case and returned will be photographed and documented before any refund is given.

Everything comes with a 12 months JOYO Audio UK warranty, but this excludes batteries & tubes.

Not too sure what we are talking about? Well here is a list of commonly used phrases we use on the JOYO website that might help a little bit. Amp sims recreate the sounds of classic guitar amplifiers made, but instead of a heavy amp to lug about or take up room, the tones are recreated by a guitar effect pedal.
Its all about the bass, whilst modulation and spacial effects work very well across all types of instrument, overdrive and distortion really needs to account for those lower frequencies.
Chorus divides the original signal and adds it back into the original (lightly modified) adding richness to the sound. Its a classic and sounds as good now as it did in the 80’s.
Even out volume of notes, or add sustain, compression is the most subtle guitar effect but will become one that can improve the sound of your playing.
Delay generates an echo that returns and repeats depending on the setting. The repeated sound is a precise copy of the original that you play, and the volume of the echo weakens with each repetition. Achieve Shadows slapback styles with a short time setting, or go for pink floyd echo trippy-ness.. Distortion Distortion is even more aggressive than overdrive, has a longer reverb and can be reliably found in all metal genres.
You definitely know equalisers from HiFi players. They serve to amplify or reduce certain frequencies such as bass, midrange and treble. These effects strengthen/weaken the frequency in the given range of roughly o +- 12 to 20 decibels.
Sounds like a plane whooshing about your head.
Fuzz is a more aggressive style of compressed distortion using an excessive amount of gain to push your guitar signal beyond its limits
A head is simply the name for an amplifier without a speaker. Your friends won't have heads on top of amps, they'll have heads on top of speakers (with the head driving the speaker). The "basic guitar amp" also known as a combo tends to be an amplifier and speaker combined in one cabinet.
Record, overdub, play along with yourself, repeat.
Modulation is a category of effects that do not intend to change drive or distort but manipulate the sound in a particular way so phaser, flanger, chorus, tremolo etc would all be considered modulating effects.
A multi effect pedal will contain many guitar effects inside one unit that can be adjusted and saved.
In simple terms it is the opposite of a compressor, which squashes signals above a threshold, such as loud attacks from the start of musical notes, noise gates squash out signals that register below the threshold. So reducing noise from noisy pedals or high gain amps.
These pedals can drop your notes down or push them up higher where your fingers cannot reach. The Octave pedal mixes the input signal with a synthesised version whose musical tone is an octave lower or higher than the original. ... Hendrix used an octave-fuzz pedal
Overdrive effects simulates the ‘overdriving’ of a tube amp, with the resulting sound of the electric guitar being characteristically a bit ‘cracked’ and ‘gritty’. Overdrive took hold in music during the 1960s, it warms up your clean guitar tone without distorting it.
These are the shorter cables that join your guitar effect pedals together. They are a 6.35mm mono cable, exactly the same as a guitar lead.
A lot of pedals? Try changing 5 pedals at once without falling over. A pedal controller allows you to program all of that in.
Phaser effects change the volume in the chosen frequency band while also adding to the original signal its phase shifted copy. In practice, it seems as if the phaser is breathing.
That thing with a plug on it, you can get a single power supply, a daisy chain, a multi power supply, filtered, isolated...
Reverb is one of the most frequently used effects in music, guitars, keyboards, vocals the effect delivers a spacial sound ranging from a small room up to a large hall.
Tremolo is one of the oldest effects, and thanks to its simple technical realisation, it is often built into guitar amps. The effect regularly adjusts volume and strength of the signal, the speed of which can be adjusted. When set properly, a nice, swinging and pulsating effect is achieved without changing the resulting character or height of the sound.
Fade in, Boost it, crank it up, okay turn it down…. Fade out… in stompbox pedal format or wah pedal style..
A wah-wah pedal (or simply wah pedal) alters the tone and frequencies of the guitar signal to create a distinctive sound, mimicking the human voice saying the onomatopoeic name "wah-wah". Auto wah or manual wah wah to get your funk on.

The JaCkMan has a 1 x 12AX7 Preamp tube - The ability to reproduce the true sound of your guitar was a key factor in assessing a tube for use with the JOYO Bantamp series. The 12AX7 pre amp tube produces the warm smooth overdrive tones that do not clip tone as a typical fixed state amp head would. FX Loop
The FX loop on a guitar amplifier enables you to put your modulated based effects (Phasers, Flanger, tremolo and Chorus) after the JaCkMan delivers its drive magic. The FX loop keeps the modulated effects pure and will prevent them from becoming muddied from the amp gain.
Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity
Pair your Bluetooth device to the JaCkMan and jam along to your favourite classic rock tracks, connect your external device via Bluetooth and play your audio tracks cleanly through the amps Bluetooth receiver channel. We find that this is the great way to practice guitar with and to learn new songs without a big tangle of wires.
Headphone Out with Built in Cab Speaker Amp Simulation
The amp has a speaker out rated at 8Ω and can also be operated at 16Ω.
