Brilliant pedal. Tried the more expensive Tech 21 Blonde and didn't like it but this is superb. Straight into a Bose L1 (via Tonematch) and you'd swear it was a tube amp.

This is a great product, well built and very good value for money. It adds clarity to clean sounds and can give that chesty push to distorted sound that you hear in high-end amps. Highly recommended.

Ok so if you plug directly into your soundcard/PA, yes, it gives you fender-like amp tones. Great. (Go watch the youtube reviews to see how close they are - spoiler...pretty damn close. How? No idea. Witchcraft maybe.)

BUT the best part...if you play it into an actual amp (we did this with a fender champ100 set on clean so YMMV) it acts like a very versatile distortion/overdrive box, giving you everything from silky clean tones to edge of breakup, subtle overdrive to melt-your-face-overdrive, crunch to ultra-dirt fuzz. Just play with the level, voice and gain along with the low/mid/high controls and you can coax an absolutely huge array of sounds from it. We also tried an EHX boost in front of it which added another variety of sounds. And it actually sounds GOOD too...not cheap.

I would recommend this even at a much much higher price, so for the price it actually is, it's a no brainer.

I'll certainly be looking at what some of the other pedals in the series have to offer.

This might be the best value piece of gear I own. It's incredible - plugging it directly into an audio interface to record is a gamechanger. I was considering a strymon iridium at almost 10x the price and thought I'd try this first due the positive reviews. Sounds better than my mic'd up fender hot rod deluxe, much less hassle and doesn't annoy the neighbours! Bought an AC Tone as well which is on the way :)
